QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.
Beerman said:I got it from those talking about the interview. The New York Times, for example:
"Since Ms. Harris began granting more interviews in recent days, her media strategy has been to sit with friendly inquisitors who are not inclined to ask terribly thorny questions or press her when her responses are evasive."
.......
"Ms. Harris responded to the fairly basic and predictable questions with roundabout responses that did not provide a substantive answer."

Ruhle may be a bimbo.
"And one could watch that and say, well, she didn't give a clear, direct answer. That's OK, because we are not talking about clear or direct issues."
Harris knows that the cost of things has come down but it's still too high. She will be areessive on "price gouging" by holding retailer accountable for rising cost. Then she'll pretend that this hasn't happened in almost every communist society in history. She wants to acknowledge the American dream sn't accessible to Americans. She knows she came from a middle class family and that her mom was a renter.
This is Harris' policy, vote for her
Harris 2024.
Crusades said:It's funny how you allocate delusion and deception on Trump and yet here you are claiming he said something he did not.
I have not claimed anything about Jan.6. Nice deflection
It's obvious that a favorite is the spin and omitt fallacy.
Allocate isn't the correct word. I'm not distributing anything. I'm assigning delusional thinking to Trymp. I'm associating him with his very many deceptions.
Yeah, you have attempted to minimize the significance of January 6th while maintaining that Trump had nothing to do with what happened and it was no big deal that Trump thought that maybe his VP might deserve to be hung if he wouldn't overturn the voter results.
Yes. Trump and his sychophants love to spin and omit in order to deceive Trump's devoted voters.

Republicans are busily trying to limit the number of voters in their regions just before the presidential election. 700,000+ citizens removed from the voter rolls.
QuoteThe State Board of Elections in the release said the majority of those stripped from the rolls were deemed ineligible to be registered because they had moved within the state and did not register their new address, or because they did not participate in the past two federal elections, prompting an inactive status.
I guess in republican states, if you don't vote for president you lose your right to vote altogether. I wonder why it's so easy to lose your right to personal autonomy and your right to vote in republican states but it's so difficult to lose your right to own weapons of war? Who are people hurting with their votes or their reproductive health decisions?

Are you trying to employ sarcasm? That's an interesting narrative that you've created in your imagination.
Beerman said:I think his administration will determine who is here illegally and focus on them.
And, yes he should shouldn't spew out nonsense when he doesn't know what he's talking about.
I hope that clarifies things for you.
Or, maybe he'll "evolve" and let everyone stay.
MAGA method of casting aspersions on people you don't know. I think they're. ajproty of Democrats are fine with the illegals being deported but not ALL illegals. Why does your party insist on deporting dreamers? I can't get past that one. Otherwise, I want criminal background checks on those that come here legally. However, how can we do that . I mean the actual mechanics of getting records from uncooperative countries etc. Should we just let white Europeans in? But we have drifted away from the true intension of amnesty and it's relationship to politicL persecution to just letting everyone at a border crossing come in with the claim of nasty. Wait! Didn't we attempt to do something about that but the Republicans shot it down? If we can't get any cooperation from the other party, hiw can anything be accomplished, ever? Complain to your own party. They're the ones holding up progress.
Refugee Processing and Security Screening already part of US law including biometric data and FBI + inter agency fingerprinting check at port of entry.

I would ask you to show me to back up the things you think I said. However just as you refused to back up claims about Trump's mental illness/dementia, would be a waste of time.

Do hostile countries share information with us? I find it hard to believe that every single person that went though our borders have had their records dispatched by, say Venezuela or China? I think it's a lot easier to take a fingerprint than to interpret it's history.
Crusades said:Actually. It's a compilation of various things Harris has said. Often repetitively. I find them boring and stale not interesting.
So you were trying to be sarcastic but didn't know that's what you were doing?

You can look that member content up just like I can.
Most interactions with you are a waste of time.

And yet, Harris's answers are more thoughtful and substantive than those of her very old, mentally ill opponent who is showing signs of dementia. Comparing the two candidates' abilities to speak intelligently about a topic is quite revealing. Harris speaks in whole sentences with an organized train of thought while he opponent can not.
