Plus, audio recordings are prime sources of the raw materials of deepfakes. Which are probably legal. I think it was Obama's campaign, or maybe earlier, that sued over deceptively edited video - a la Project Veritas. It went to the SJC (I think). They pretty much said that deceptive advertising as part of a political campaign is protected speech. Why hand over samples of Biden discussing sensitive subjects?
