The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

As far as I know, Obama wasn't selling merch with his party advertised on it. I can understand the 50% rule. People wanted to unload the stock they already had.
But it didn't happen when Obama was President and had both the house and senate.
Obama only had the house and a filibuster-proof senate for about 4 months, due in part to Ted Kennedy being ill, and a delay in seating Al Franken. And his most pressing issue during that time was fixing the economy and trying to get his cabinet and judges approved.

Fair enough. Every new president has priorities. But unlike Biden he couldn't get it done his last few months? It seemed relatively easy to do.
