QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

That isn't fair, but it does seem they've made more inroads into the Republican party the last 20 or so years. Was there even a MTG type back then?

Most as in most who are elected officials or a part of the RNC, or most as in most of the voters? Would you mind sharing how you are quantifying "most" ? Would you characterize any of the members of the House of Representatives as right wing extremists, ideologically?
Is it considered right wing extremism to refuse to agree to accept election results if you lose? Is it considered far right to be anti LGBTQ or to demonize immigrants as a way to consolidate votes. How about banning books, is that a behavior seen in right wing extremism?

And, Joe was the first black woman to serve with a black president.

It's sad that some democrats continue to beat the Biden horse or want to put him out to pasture.
Of course you think Jan.6 that lasted 4 hrs and 0 deaths except a Trump supporter is the biggest deal , worse in history while completely ignoring the 2020 riots. That's because your party and your media tell you that.
Or perhaps it's an original feeling. However I doubt it.
Yes, I think it's sad too.
I think it's more sad that no one talks about the guy who is a pathologic liar, an adjucated sexual abuser, a convicted felon and a measurably bad president needing to drop out so that the GOP would have a better candidate.
Everyone except Trump cult members and the very poorly informed understands that the events leading to and including 010621 were an attempt by Trump to retain lost power. Trump apparently thought that he could bully and scare Pence into refusing the EC votes. He could not. Now he calls those people who attacked the Capitol and stopped the joint session of Congress hostages and patriots.
You can't gas light us about what we all experienced, watched and heard. You can try, but it's not going to work. We/I know the difference between a protest and an attempt to stop the peaceful transition of power, even if you don't.
You aren't good at gas lighting or projecting. You aren't even very good at attempting snarky insults. Back to Trump U for you.

It's so frequent and habitual that it has reached the level of pathology. He can't help himself.

Most being the majority of conservatives do not appreciate or like far right extremist. They don't hold the same values. Not to mention that every time some extreemist does something it gets put on all conservatives.
It's obvious you think that most conservatives are far right extreemist and apply the fallacy of guilt by association. So that conversation with you is pointless.
What is your definition to "anti LGBTQ"? What is it that the republican party done to lgbtq that has got you in a tissy?
Again. The concern is for ILLEGAL immigrants. Not legal immigrants. You purposly leave that out again. Fallacy of omission renering a conversation pointless.
Having books that contain inappropriate content out of schools is not "banning books". They can be obtained in libraries or purchased. The effort to associate this with the banned book in history is old and is a logical fallacy.
People can personally not accept election results if they want to. They can also believe what they want too. It is still a free country for now. That is not extremist. There were thousands of protesters that were mostly peacful during Jan.6 , they are not extreemist.
Kind of like how you and a few democrats believe Biden is in perfect cognitive condition despite the evidence of your own eye sight and in contrast to several democrats who also feel Biden has a cognitive deficit. Is that extremist? I'd say so. Guess what? You can believe that if you want to. It's not against the law.

No one talks about it? Really? That's all that is said. Especially here LOL.
No one up until the debate wanted to talk about what was in front of their face regarding Biden's cognition. Or were being purposly ignorant. Talk about gas lighting.
I guess it's full circle then
You can try to gas l8ght us that Jan.6 was like worse than 911 man, but we see with pur eyes also. So it's not going to work.
Mkay. How was he attempting to while leading up to the 2020 election to overthrow an election that he had not lost yet? His personality alone debunks that.

as he should be, so how could he be racist?

I don't think "no one" means himself and his repetitions over time.
I also don't agree because you have on occasion mentioned that Trump lies and is immoral but that's not as bad as Biden's cognitive decline. Back to square one indeed.
I agree that both sides don't talk about the ugly truth about the side they are on much, they gloss over it with a "but the other is worst".
I think people here see the truth about the other and choose a side and then criticize the other for the side they choose if it doesn't align with their own.
(Trump's ugly truth is worse than Biden's)

What a sad attempt to create a strawman argument about 010621 by making some false equivalence to 9/11. I shouldn't be surprised by these sophomoric attempts but I expect more critical thought from nurses.
Mkay. You should have paid attention during the hearings and testimony and evidence presentation about those events. I'll humor you and await your dismissal of the facts.
Quite a number of Trump's associates are in legal trouble because they were trying to use fake electors in key states, you could look that up. The fake electors would be important if Trump had been successful in bullying and scaring Pence into rejecting the EC vote on 010621. Trump and associates are indicted in Georgia for trying to interfere in the states vote totals.
Trump's personality alone is suggestive that he would absolutely cheat to retain lost power. Malignant narcissists are competitive but they abhor losing and are dependably bad losers. People who think of themselves as better than most other people will cheat and lie before they admit that they didn't win.
