The Trump support narrative is that it was Pelosi who was responsible for protecting the Capitol that day, not Trump's. It's funny, isn't it, how Trump didn't have the power to call up the NG in 010621 but he does now in California to protect something.
Making money is no reason not to pay taxes. The top bracket was 80% during Eisenhower and it's steadily dropped to 37% so you are getting a good deal and you shoukd be paying more. I agree the protests in LA need to be monitored and dealt with before people get hurt and it escalates. But Trump saying they are "migrant riots" is just him making things up and a bit dramatic.
Interesting that the click bait on the homepage on Fox calls them "rioters" as well, but the article you click is calling them "protestors" and "dozens of people", while Trump is saying the city is out of control. Again, a bit dramatic.
I'm not endorsing the cause there or condoning "domestic terrorism" if that's what we're calling it these days.

Anyway, it's well documented that the wealthy have paid more in taxes than the rest of us. This makes sense to me and has been a pretty steady reality for many decades. They've had their tax cuts, made a boat load of money. From Google AI so take it with a grain of salt.
