QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

Tesla recalls Cybertrucks after steel trim pieces come loose
Quote
Tesla Inc. recalled all the Cybertrucks it produced and sold in the first 15 months it's been on the U.S. market over a safety issue it's having trouble resolving.
The carmaker estimates that 1% of the 46,096 pickups it's calling back have a defect, according to a recall report filed with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Pieces of steel trim along the exterior of the Cybertruck are joined to the vehicle by an adhesive that's "susceptible to environmental embrittlement,” the company said.
Tesla says it will foot the bill for replacing the panels with ones that meet its durability requirements. But as of Tuesday – the day Tesla submitted its recall report – the company said it had not yet corrected the issue in production. The manufacturer expected to sort out the remedy on or around Friday.
"If the cant rail stainless steel panel separates from the vehicle while in drive, it could create a road hazard for following motorists and increase their risk of injury or a collision,” Tesla said. The company identified 151 warranty claims that may be related to the condition....

Errrr. Right. They are going to cure the disease by Friday.
Administration adamantly denies this, so why does the headline above remain?
New York Times is garbage.
"Hours after news of the planned meeting was published by The New York Times, Pentagon officials and President Trump denied that the session would be about military plans involving China. "China will not even be mentioned or discussed,” Mr. Trump said in a late-night social media post."

The boycott of Tesla is having a decidedly negative effect on it's value. Since Tesla stock was a big portion of the collateral that Musk used to purchase Twitter, this could be problematic for Musk. It's okay though. Musk has the federal government to push money and contracts toward his businesses. The POTUS now is selling his cars and babysitting for him.
And my post looks like I was falling off my chair when I wrote it. Again, your perspective is the correct one. Who cares?

I definitely care that the billionaires are adversely affected by the global response to their efforts. I definitely don't think that people care about an individual destroying their car in protest anymore than they cared about people burning their own sneakers or shooting up their own beer supply in protest. I think they care if the protests have any larger effect.
In the case of Bud light, the effect was significant. So far, the global protest against the swaztikar has also been significant and effective in dropping the value of that stock. That stock was a large portion of the collateral used to purchase Twitter. That would be troubling for most people.
Ultimately, it is the destruction of and damage to things that the narcissistic billionaire fascists value which makes them rethink their approach to things. Musk and Trump prioritize and value two things; their money and their power.
@Beerman here's another conservative who thinks that TDS is a real thing describing Trump critics.

Oddly enough, he isn't transgender but he is another white conservative man who poses a threat to children.

And Trusk is a highly reliable news source?

I was quoting YOUR "who cares" on your previous post. I'm fine with billionaires served with tartar sauce and a cold pino grigiot.
Listen to Lutnick talk about how honest Americans will not complain if social security checks don't go out at 41:30. He then talks about how it's unacceptable for people to receive disability assistance for 50 years. I guess the disabled should die more quickly.
Unbelievable.
Fascism is always cruel.
Beerman said:If Trusk thinks they can do whatever they want, are above the law, don't need to follow the Constitution, etc. why would they be compelled to deny this if it really happened?
They are liars. Denial is breathing to them.

The other explanation is people protesting the unelected billionaire fascist who is meddling in the US federal government. I'm surprised that you missed that.
