Imagine being in a program and you get this witch or anyone like her. It could ruin people like us in monitoring

This is EXACTLY why I don’t go to any lab besides the LabCorp/Quest or whoever the behemoth company there is a contract with. Less hands on the specimen and clear cut protocol with the documentation all done by computer. So many moons ago when I got my big pack o’ ? in the mail that was my contract and other assorted toilet tissue, there was a stack of the COC forms for P testing. 5+ years on....I’ve not used a one. So that significantly lessens the chances of scumbags like the above from screwing with the paperwork (why on earth did she did that anyway? What exactly was her motive?) Where we have to worry is carelessness in the handling of specimens and the resulting guilty until proven innocent and even then you’re probably guilty anyway, you just had enough money and cojones to challenge us that we’ll back down but don’t expect us to apologize because we’re never wrong credo that is so prevalent. In short, we burn if the lab makes a mistake.

I know when I donate & initial the sticker after sealed, I sometimes joke with the tech/employee, how the hell would it benefit them in any way to alter my specimen? We always have a laugh. None knew me (or vice versa) prior to going all the time, that they have any type of bad blood and want to harm me. Nor would they benefit financially.

This woman was being paid, by either the donor or reimbursed by county if donor unable to pay. Would any reimbursement be THAT little that she took it out on them this way?

Sounds like a witch on a power-trip and needs to do something to attempt making up to those families she harmed. WOW. Just wow...

Wow, I have no words to describe how I feel about this.

What a POS!

I'm speechless. This woman is a sociopath.

In 2013, Murrah was arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to five counts of credit card fraud. She was sentenced to three years probation and yet somehow, the woman who was actually convicted of fraud was allowed to handle sensitive screenings that determined the futures of entire families.

This is why the whole system needs a reboot. Nurses could never!

Murrah, who, despite all appearances to the contrary, I cannot stress enough—is only 36 years old.

??

Rest of the story is horrific though.

Yes - I had to re-read that too - scrolled up, looked at her pic and shook my head. This mess may never be unraveled...

Out on a $2,000 bond?! Am I the only one that thinks thats low? Especially with this not being her first offense.

I couldn't imagine what families are going through when it comes to the involvement of their children, and how their lives are affected by this woman.

I know first hand how life-altering a false positive drug test is and how completely time, mind, body and soul consuming trying to prove innocence is. My life was turned upside down because of a drug test that was incorrectly reported to my employer and subsequently the BON, but my children were not involved in that nightmare.

And $2,000 bond?!? That's outrageous and does not seem fair at all in comparison to the time lost between those families this being attempted to destroy.

Seems like we have reached a almost hopeless impasse, after reading another article where police tested a law abiding couple's baking soda and the flawed testing kit said it was positive for cocaine,as a result two months in jail until test repeated and was negative.
