Wow, what a beautiful story about death. If only society could get beyond the finality of death, and could rationalize this process in this manner, some that are so miserable but still cognizant, could participate in last wishes. Not for everyone, but for people like this who are able to come to a rational conclusion.
Wow. What an amazing story. I still struggle between my heart and my mind on this subject, constantly arguing with myself to figure out where I stand, and I never seem to come to a concrete stance.
This is a great story for schools to use in these types of ethical conversations because it approaches suicide from a completely different angle. My heart goes out to the family and I'm glad that they are all at peace.
