1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

My mommy flies halfway across country everytime someone at work is mean to me. That's the only reason people don't BULLY me. My mommy taught me all about lateral violence and won't let anyone laterally violent me!!

Not only that, she stalks them, hacks their work email/facebook account with photoshopped naked pics of them doing vile things with pts, children and kitchen utensils while muttering satanic curses.

I always like the "How do I keep the sexy..." threads. And then nurses wonder why they get so little respect.

Is it bad that I had this detoxing with early-stage dementia old dude go "damn, you're sexy for a white girl" and I felt flattered?

The Bible we use in church doesn't say we get whatever we want. It talks about humility and service to others. Not bragging!! These people must have some kind of other different Bible. I think some people confuse prayer with the drive thru at McDonalds.

I guess my confusion is that you've got some posters thanking God for helping them to pass the NCLEX the first time. And you have posters thanking God for helping them pass the NCLEX the third or forth time.

Does God prefer those posters that he helped pass the NCLEX the first time?

I understand. I think this one (hold on a sec) - yes this one spun off the reels on the first page of replies. There may have been some serious replies stuck in there here and there but I wouldn't want to dig through them either. I know there are a few in the archives of past posts, though. Those tend to get very heated.

I failed by only .1 pts because they say you have to have a 75 to pass.

This is my favorite, I taught in a BSN program and every semester you hear this. What students don't understand is that they failed not by ONE point but by a PERCENTAGE POINT. Meaning depending on how many total possible points, they failed by many, many points, but then again these were the same students who could not calculate their exam/class average, I had to post it for them! And they are supposed to be able to calulated IV/ICU drips the next year and pediatric meds! Go figure!!!

Yeah I just read that thread and wanted to just reply with "Jesus Christ!!!!" Because really?

I find most of those posts to be a waste of time and bandwidth anyway...you passing the NCLEX isn't really a matter of site-wide interest.
