Democrats are excited about Harris and as of this writing she's raised 100 million dollars since Biden announced he was dropping out and throwing his support behind her.
Quote"Republicans, I worry, vastly underestimate Kamala Harris. They don't think very highly of her. They don't think she's terribly bright. When you or I bring up Kamala Harris' name in Republican circles, people laugh. It's immediately a punchline," Cruz said Monday on his podcast "Verdict with Ted Cruz."
Cruz warned against Republicans preemptively celebrating a Trump-Vance win months out from the election, arguing Democrats and the media will promote Harris as an "historic" candidate.

The vice president is not an independent actor. She in the president's top assistant - a kind of agent at large. It's not her job to "enact change", that's the president's job. Your remark tells me that you don't know what you don't know.
Right. The VP isn't assigned certain responsibilities and or advising the POTUS. She was assigned to ""root causes of Central American immigration"? How did she do with that? Now she's acknowledging the problem at the border. Do you think she discovered the root causes?

I have no idea, which is why I don't make meaningless pronouncements about "enacting change" which isn't her job to begin with.

This is pretty easily found with a simple internet search.

Are you speculating or trying to spread baloney?
You don't know what you don't know.

Too many people believe a variety of untruths about Trump. Propaganda works.
Harris is building coalition and talking about the people. Trump is building grievance and talking about retribution. Which sounds more moderate to you?
The article was in regards to a NY Times poll. I'm not sure that qualifies as propaganda that would favor Trump.
From the article:
"Do you think Kamala Harris is too liberal or progressive, not liberal or progressive enough, or not too far either way?
Among likely voters in this large-sample, gold-standard national poll, 47 percent said "too liberal or progressive,” 9 percent said "not liberal or progressive enough,” and 41 percent said "not too far either way.” The "too liberal or progressive" characterization is shared by 56 percent of men, 52 percent of seniors, 59 percent of non-college-educated white voters, and perhaps most significantly, 47 percent of self-identified independents.
But they have another problem that will complicate their task, as reflected in another Times-Siena question:
Do you think Donald Trump is too conservative, not conservative enough, or not too far either way?
Only 32 percent of likely voters say Trump is "too conservative,” while 49 percent say he is "not too far either way.” 48 percent of self-identified independents are in that "not too far either way" category, as are 25 percent of Democrats. So believe it or not, at this moment, and even before Team Trump spends a half-billion dollars or so smearing Harris as dangerously leftist, it's the 45th president who is the perceived centrist in the race."

People believe lies and propaganda. I didn't say the poll was propaganda.
People also believe that the 2020 election was fraudulent and that Trump was a great president, but neither of those things are true either. Perception is not always reality, especially when dealing with a pathological liar and conman. This is what shared delusion looks like. Some of that delusional thinking will dissipate if the source of the delusion is removed from position of influence in the lives of the victims.

You aren't aware of the propaganda and misinformation that swirls around right wing social media and traditional media outlets? Why would they think that Trump would be better on the economy when the experts don't think that and Trump caused government shutdowns which harmed our economic rating in his failed first term after he blew up our debt and deficit with more trickle down nonsense? Why do people believe stiff that's not true while ignoring a Trump's own words and actions? Why do you believe he's better on the economy even though the evidence doesn't support that? I mean, this irresponsible liar and cheat managed to lose money with casinos.
