Another overreach by the Dems that again will blow up in their collective faces.  Not to mention a waste of time and money.

I don't see that a 78 year old Donald Trump is going to want to run, or that he would have a decent chance of winning.

A second impeachment and 4 years of a progressive White House agenda....that just might set the stage for Trump Jr to run and win.  The former President Trump sure would be a valuable asset on the campaign trail.

Do you really think with the snakes that populate the republican party that any Trump stands a chance again? The voters aren't really known for their acumen now,are they? Bachmann, Palin, Cain, Cruz, etc etc.

Cruz, Hawley, Cotton etc are just biding their time. What about Darth Vader? Do you think he's going to let his daughter not be avenged? Cheney is a dangerous enemy.

The republicans are the party to watch. Best entertainment in town. The lunatics have taken over the asylum! I have front row seats and I'm just waiting for the blood bath.

YES, he is!!  He will have their heads!  All of them.  He will find out who was behind trying to impeach his heir to his political throne yesterday.  *grabbing the popcorn*

It's going to be a battle for sure.  But I rather think that Beerman's side of the conservative caucus is going to win that fight for the soul of the GOP, not what most would consider the traditional, governing portion of the caucus. The Cheney and Romney and Bush families and those who haven't abandoned conservatism for Trumpism will need to start a new party I'm afraid.

We just need to pray that this battle with the right wing extremists doesn't mortally harm our republic the way it is the Republican party.

In the meantime, the fight will be entertaining.  On a  more serious note, I agree that it is unfortunate that the Nazi-wing/Trump Supporters/QAnon crazies of the Republican party are winning for now.  However, I do not think they will ultimately win.  Democracy will win even if it takes some time.

Yes the Cheney-Romney-Bush-Reagan-Thatcher wing of the Republican party are taking major blows at this time.  However, that is largely because their base has never ever really liked the basic conservative beliefs in fiscal conservativism, small government, and free trade as evidenced by Trump's poor management of the government that produced large debts in support of everything opposite of conservative principles in pursuit of racist hateful anti-democratic and unconstitutional policies.

In fact, their base has always been a bunch of anti-democratic neo-Nazis that voted Republican because they thought conservative principles were hateful and went against the "others" (non-white, non-Christian, foreign born, gays, etc. people) that they don't think belong in this country.  Now that their racist base has taken over the Republican party via Traitor Trump, they are not going to give up that power easily.

Therefore, I agree that there will be a fight for the soul of the party, but I believe that the true conservatives who are pro-democratic will win the fight.  True conservatives are not a bunch of bigots and they don't hate democracy (think Lincoln Project), and so, they have powerful allies in Democrats and Independents.  We will win.

Quote

A new kind of party can fix anything.

We are current and former Democrats, Republicans, and independents who have come together with a common goal - to fix our broken politics in America.

We’re creating the new political party for the millions of Americans who are tired of choosing between the lesser of two evils. We’re made up of people who’ve been betrayed by their tribes and are brave enough to build something better.

America’s a diverse place and we don’t always agree on everything. Neither do SAM members. But we share a set of universal principles and one ultimate goal: to fix a system that has been corrupted by the mainstream parties and the people who prop them up.

Only then can we begin to tackle our toughest issues with sincerity. To move ourselves forward. And to live up to what it means to be America.

No matter what labels you may have used in the past (or the ones you still do), if you’re tired of black and white choices in this brilliantly colorful world — welcome home.

But does Steve Schmidt know how formidable he is? Between himself, The Mooch and Conway with Darth Vader and his posse, things will be interesting. They all have serious political chops and connections. Wonder if Rove gets involved because he's been making a few comments recently?

I hope so.

I would hate to see the crazies ruin our republic...but that is where they're headed.

Just wondering if you led an insurrection on your unit against the manager, management or Drs etc, how do you think that will go down?

Do you think that you will be rewarded or sacked? I mean it's only about 20 patients lives you are jeopardizing? What's the big deal?

How many lives not just in the white house but in the country do you think would have been in jeopardy if the insurrection had succeeded?

Do you think that the white supremacists and proud boys members are capable of good judgment? Hitler tells you that you need to kill Jewish people and Gypsies etc, do you follow his directives or do you question the validity? A Dr tells you to use the same syringe a few times because he's in a hurry to get back to sleep, do you follow his directive?

Hey, it's free speech right? They can say whatever they want. It's protected!

Well Beerman, let's see how the cowards at fox disinformation network respond to the lawsuits? Or Guilliaini or the hosts on fox? Wanna bet that like the cowards they are, there's going to be serious back peddling and crow eating? Just like horse face Greene today?

Cowards dude! No conviction or spine! Weak, jellyfish, untrustworthy, COWARDS!
