The Impeachment of Joe Biden

Published

Didn't I say in another thread that Trump supporters would make his life as President miserable?

And so it begins.

That is irrelevant.  I am glad though, you got your dopamine fix in by taking a cheap shot at a Trump voter.

What is relevant is that there are members of congress far more left then Biden, Pelosi, and others.

So what? There are also members of congress who are firmly right-wing crazy. It’s their job to represent the constituents who voted them into office. Or do you believe that only right-wing viewpoints should be represented?

No kidding? Thanks for that revelation of what is plainly obvious...political philosophy is a spectrum and Biden is a moderate (like Obama was/is).  Were you bothered by Trump's authoritarian drift toward fascism or are you one of those who thinks that fascism is left wing extremism?

It wasn't a cheap shot, it was a statement of fact made with no regard for the feelings of the reader. What Trump supporters feel is far left is inaccurate.

I said nothing to the contrary.  You have to go back a few posts to see the context this one was made in.

No cheap shots. Help us or me to understand why Trump?

Here's my argument * if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck!

I have ALWAYS adhered to that principle. Read my posts and you will see that I can be abrasive but I hate bullies. I take my patients very very seriously. Duck analogy explained?

Trump loud, attention seeking, misogynistic, rapist, critical, name calling, hateful, uneducated(vocabulary) enough said.

Now why would you possibly trust such a person? Would you allow anyone into your home to fix anything with such behaviors? So why would you trust that person with National Interests? Good people just don't behave that way man.

Please I beg of you to school me. Tell me your side of the story. What is the appeal for you? What am I missing?

Sorry, not interested in going into this.  We're past that now.  I have several times on the blue side of AN over the last 4 years, and I doubt it isn't something you havent heard before.

Never the less, you get some kinda of high by saying it.  And, now by explaining it.

What Trump supporters feel is "far left" is irrelevant regarding whether certain factions of congressional Democrats will be in conflict with each other.

We'll see what happens.

See that's the problem. No one ever wants to explain why they supported Trump. They don't even try to say that he appointed all those right wing conservative judges, he gave tax breaks. They just don't offer any credible explanations. They attack the left but will never explain their position.

I think they respond emotionally and never engage critical thinking. I also think they respond to people who behave like Trump. Televangelists etc.

Did you watch the Inauguration? Maybe I'm biased, but that's the behaviors I respond to. Careful, considered, articulate, thoughtful and considerate. He's a better man than I am, with the dove offering. But, that's what a real politician IS!

That ability to reach out to others, form coalitions, look at the big picture.

Trump's nationalism is probably the most devisive, despicable thing in politics. It essentially means that you are promoting one nation above another, one race above another and by extension, superiority! Look at Hitler and where that led. Dude, WE THE PEOPLE! Not a single race but everyone.

E pluribus unum! Out of many, one! That is what makes America great!

You may assume what you prefer about why I speak the truth so bluntly to Trump supporters.

The political party currently fractured between factions is the GOP. The question is which side of the party will win...the McConnell faction of corrupt dishonesty or the Trump faction of corrupt dishonesty, incompetence and sedition.

Whatever.  My post had nothing to do with Trump or his supporters.  You're right, though.  I can only assume why you want to keep steering the conversation in that direction. I really don't know.

Like I said, we will see what happens.  For now, the last word is yours, if you wish.

Have a good evening.

You are the one making my comment a big deal. A relevant statement of fact in response to your comment is hardly "steering a conversation".

Let's talk about why Trump supporters might like to impeach president Biden.

I'll go in that direction....: Trump Supporters are being fed a daily dose of lies from many far right media outlets, which they love because it validates their racists points of views, such as Fox News.  In fact, Shepard Smith has finally made a statement as to why he finally left:

Shepard Smith Breaks Silence on Leaving Fox News and Criticizes Former Colleagues
