I traditionally have a thread heading to the election, here we go.
Get out the popcorn for this one.
QuoteFlorida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to formally announce next week he is running for president in 2024, NBC News reported Thursday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
The governor's official entry into the Republican primary field will put him head-to-head with former President Donald Trump, the party's current frontrunner for the nomination. Trump has already spent months treating DeSantis as his primary campaign rival, thrashing him with torrents of criticism over his gubernatorial record, his political skills and his personality.

They've got Trump supporters looking for evidence of Biden's dementia. Or evidence that he committed high crimes or misdemeanors and should be impeached. Or evidence that Biden took money from foreign interests.
There's a pattern to the efforts, can you see it?

Maybe, maybe not.
But, they know who they aren't voting for.
And, are you under the impression that "MAGA's" are going to decide the election?

DNC invests $2M in 11 non-battleground state parties, targeting down-ballot races
The DNC says the investment is the first-of-its-kind.
QuoteThe Democratic National Committee announced Monday it will give nearly $2 million to state parties in 11 non-battleground states in the months ahead of elections in November -- first-of-its-kind investments in on-the-ground organizing, data infrastructure and voter-turnout efforts specifically targeting certain places that aren't at the heart of the presidential or congressional battlefield.
This spending in Maryland, Texas, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah and Washington will target high-profile races like the U.S. Senate contest in Maryland, but also do things like get out indigenous voters in places such as South Dakota and mobilize residents of apartment buildings in Minnesota....
The DNC said that under the leadership of Harrison and President Joe Biden, Democrats have prioritized their support for state parties, increasing yearly investment by 25%. Total funding to Democratic state parties now reaches more than $20 million for this election cycle...
The Biden campaign and the Democratic Party together raised more than $187 million in the first three months of this year, according to Federal Elections Commissions filings, with the party touting the figure as the highest total amassed by any Democratic candidate in history by that point in the cycle...
State-specific investments across the eleven states are listed. Karen
Many interesting results in this poll. Some, of course aren't surprising.
"More than half of President Biden's supporters said they are mainly backing the incumbent in 2024 to oppose former President Trump, according to a new poll.
The second-highest reason for choosing Biden was that they liked him, with 27 percent selecting the option. "

It seems like the Trump campaign might believe that they (MAGA) will decide the election. Trump's campaign hasn't exactly pivoted rhetorically to focus upon voters outside of MAGA, IMV.

I can understand how someone who only pays attention cherry-picked clips of Trump would feel that way.
Is the Bronx MAGA country? Seems like a pretty enthusiastic crowd. Good remarks for the most part, without teleprompter, for over an hour, by a late 70's aged man on a warm humid day.

Trump isn't as broadly popular as he'd like his voting base to believe. He did, after all, lose the popular vote in back to back elections and that was before he tried to overturn election results and illegally retain lost power or get charged with a ton of crimes or get convicted of a bunch of felonies and get slapped with huge civil penalties for unacceptable behavior.
It's more surprising that so many good people would continue to set aside their values and ethics and patriotism to support him.

So? The election is over after the voting. Why grind out useless predictions that have proven in the past to be wrong. We all will just have to wait. No poll is going to change anything.
