You have to criticize the apology to counter the reality that Trump cannot apologize. I don't think Biden's statement damaged Harris in the least.

I have no issue with Biden's apology. Which was more a statement than an apology. I think that it was good of him to do that. The comment was in reference to your comment. I think much of the media and Democratic Party would have liked Trump to drop out, too. At least before his handlers got Vance picked as his running mate.
