I traditionally have a thread heading to the election, here we go.
Get out the popcorn for this one.
QuoteFlorida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to formally announce next week he is running for president in 2024, NBC News reported Thursday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
The governor's official entry into the Republican primary field will put him head-to-head with former President Donald Trump, the party's current frontrunner for the nomination. Trump has already spent months treating DeSantis as his primary campaign rival, thrashing him with torrents of criticism over his gubernatorial record, his political skills and his personality.

Anyway, twelve ballots were found to be fraudulent. Voters were contacted when their ballots failed the signature verification. Those voters though had not even received their ballots.
Other voters were notified their ballots had been received. They also had not received their ballot. Unfortunately, by the time that was realized, the signature envelope had been separated from their ballot. So, those ballots were counted and their is no way to fix it.
Twelve fraudulent ballots of which four have been counted.
Voters are called the day their ballots are questioned (BEFORE) they get near a tabulator so that this doesn't happen. If signatures are being scrutinized after an election, something is very wrong. Actually, it makes me believe that the story isn't true at all.

I wonder what led to this?
Especially considering she's running against Hitler. You'd think an endorsement would be a no-brainer.
Perhaps related, a casual acquaintance who was working as a canvasser for Harris

This happened during this election.
The votes that were counted weren't considered suspicious until the voters reported they hadn't received their ballots.
Why would they be making this up?

And they didn't notice until election day? They could have voted in person. I have no doubt that mail accidently gets thrown out. I'm very suspicious of anyone who complains about not getting a ballot until votes are already being counted.

FYI....Election day is still over a week away.
Well, it's been determined since those complaints that the signatures shouldn't have been verified.
Our Trump-hating Secretary of State, who is also the chairwoman for the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, is the one who released the details.

Then that's on them..not the system. If there is a question and the person can't be reached, that ballot has to be spoiled. Actually I'm done with this topic. It isn't worth the electricity it takes to run the server which stores this conversation.

Yes ... it's all still a bunch of vote-suppressing solutions in search of a problem. Still, the magaphiles all have their assignments. This particular conversation is a tactic intended to invalidate an election that trump is losing. We know that. Beerman knows that. All the snark in the world isn't going to change that, any more than real or phony voter id fraud is going to change election results. Time to move on.
Meanwhile, things are heating up in the courts as maga republicans try to jimmy state election rules to make it easier to jam up a Harris victory.
Better than "Law and Order"!

I'm sure you are done with it. You're not getting this on purpose to avoid acknowledging the problem.
There wasn't a question about the ballot. The signature verified, separated from the ballot, and then the ballot tabulated. The voter was notified their ballot was counted. Problem is voter didn't receive ballot and therfore didn't vote. Now, it's too late to spoil the ballot.
The system failed.
