I traditionally have a thread heading to the election, here we go.
Get out the popcorn for this one.
QuoteFlorida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to formally announce next week he is running for president in 2024, NBC News reported Thursday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
The governor's official entry into the Republican primary field will put him head-to-head with former President Donald Trump, the party's current frontrunner for the nomination. Trump has already spent months treating DeSantis as his primary campaign rival, thrashing him with torrents of criticism over his gubernatorial record, his political skills and his personality.
Wow.
I wonder what led to this?
Especially considering she's running against Hitler. You'd think an endorsement would be a no-brainer.
Perhaps related, a casual acquaintance who was working as a canvasser for Harris in PA was abruptly sent home today.

If this was someone else posting these things, you would say "the fellow is unwell."
OK.
It's hypocritical of Republicans to obsess over voter fraud when the largest cases of voter fraud are republican schemes. It's odd that such a plain and obvious example of hypocrisy is mysterious to you.

You'd think it would be a no-brainer but here we are.
Do you think the Harris canvasser was forging logs like the Musk/Trump canvassers reportedly were?
Trump ramps up rhetoric on media, calls press 'the enemy of the people' again this week. As Jeff Bezos OWNS the Washington Post, has numerous government contracts, not wanting to make Trump irate with neck and neck presidential race makes FINANCIAL sense....
Bob Woodward shares what Gen. Milley told him about Trump in his new book WAR.
After re-listening to General Milley's retirement speech defending democracy -- I'll support him in this goal. Hear his 60minute interview.
Dissapointed in Bezos and just might cancel subscription.

Nope. Her whole group was dissolved. "Budget cuts." In other words, a donor or donors decided to cut their losses.
You don't care to speculate on Bezo's decision? Ah, come on. Entertain us.

Not hypocritical. A vast majority of Republicans and conservatives oppose voter fraud by either party. Besides, I thought voter fraud was too rare to care about?

Thanks for the analysis.
Nah, my speculation wouldn't have much to do with our election, which this thread is about.

Yes, hypocritical.
Everyone opposes voter fraud except the people engaging in it and even they say they are opposed.
Yes, voter fraud is rare and doesn't deserve the concern or the legislative attention that republicans give it. I think it is a smoke screen for nefarious objectives and there's evidence to support that.
