I traditionally have a thread heading to the election, here we go.
Get out the popcorn for this one.
QuoteFlorida Gov. Ron DeSantis is expected to formally announce next week he is running for president in 2024, NBC News reported Thursday, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
The governor's official entry into the Republican primary field will put him head-to-head with former President Donald Trump, the party's current frontrunner for the nomination. Trump has already spent months treating DeSantis as his primary campaign rival, thrashing him with torrents of criticism over his gubernatorial record, his political skills and his personality.

If you are a nurse you can read and understand that I wasn't even talking about that. I am not arguing against abortion.
What would make it necessary to medically cause fetal demise in later pregnancy of an anacephalic baby before removal to save or protect a woman's life or heath?
Nobody will answer so the discussion is redundant.
You could look up the answer. Do you know where or how to look it up to answer your silly question?
Beerman said:"Dials monitoring the reaction of a Fox News focus group during Tuesday's presidential debate showed independent voters overlapping with Republicans in support of former President Trump's immigration policies."
Maybe they are also believing that Haitian immigrants are eating family pets and think that Trump will save them.

It's a shame that a nurse doesn't know how to look up information about medical procedures and feels a need to badger others to do that work for her.
It's a shame a retired nurse cannot specify symptoms and/or behaviors of a mental illness or frontal lobe dementia other that allocating vague observation in a Google symptoms search. Or describe a medical indication for feticide to protect a pregnant woman. Especially with your vast experience in obstetricians and phycology.

Eating pets, eating babies ... We've seen this movie before. That trope has been used to start wars and pogroms since time immemorial.
Anyone remember the picture that went viral sometime back? It showed a Haitian migrant on the ground being whipped by a European American (often referred to as a settler) on a horse.
Remember, also, that the original "report" is thought by many to be a pretty sus.. And trump needs to be president to stay out of prison, get his money back and then ride to the rescue of his buddy Putin (who's got problems of his own in the Ukraine). Remember the Republican's change of their party's platform in 2015? That's when they dropped their opposition to Russia's attempts to annex Crimea. In fact, didn't they drop their entire platform that year? trump wasn't the only useful idiot for sale back then. Or now, for that matter. Has anyone read the DOJ indictment of Tenet Media?
Many a fortune has been made in the advertising industry. That's because it works.

Baloney.
You're the one with the extremist fixation on late term abortions that requires you to ask all manner of questions that most nurses would have no need to ask.
You don't know what you don't know but you sure are itching for an argument.

Republican politics is full of Russian influence and has been for some years now. Remember when 8 Republican members of congress visited Moscow before Trump's famous Helsinki one on one with Putin? All of them tried to sell the idea that our intelligence reports about Russian propaganda intending to influence our election was all overblown. Quite a number of those members of Congress, like Senator Ron Johnson repeated Russian propaganda in congressional hearings or in interviews and media appearances.
The GOP is a fully corrupt political organization under Trump's guidance. There is nothing they won't consider doing to achieve or retain power. IMV

I'm not going back to check right this minute, but didn't he already list the DSM criteria for those?
As a new poster you might not be aware that AN is occasionally used by students doing their homework. Some students want to be spoonfed the answers to their questions, for whatever reason. It can get tiresome for the older nurses. So instead, they try to help by pointing out where they can find the answers for themselves. Good students will say thanks and go to the library. Lazy students will get all huffy. Perhaps you hit that nerve with TMB. I know you are with me..
Now, I don't think I'm understanding your question about infanticide. Prior to viability, the question is moot because the fetus will die, just like any other tissue removed from the body.
So we're talking about late term abortions. You want those fetuses kept alive? Women are certainly free to take on the lifelong care those babies will likely need, but what about women who are either unwilling or unable to do so? What do you want to do with those kids? Or the women giving birth to them?
I would love to hear from NICU nurses and social services workers about the hordes of pro-lifers lining up to adopt severely disabled total-care children.
The point being that there are fates worse than death, both for the fetus and the woman it's growing in.
When I get around to it, I might look up late term abortion procedures and see just what you mean by "infanticide". I only ever worked as a first trimester abortion nurse, so I've never seen the procedure done. I did apply to a facility providing late term abortions, but they needed nurses with OR, ICU or post-op experience.

So ... define the infanticide that concerns you.
I have no need to define infanticide. I was refering to Feticide. Now I'll give you the opportunity bestowed to the students of AN and allow you to go to a library and find the definition. The discussion was related to later pregnancy abortion. Not pre-viability.
He probably did state the criteria of the DSM but was unable to apply actual observations in Trump's behavior/symptoms that qualified the DSM criteria. I thought the debate would have provided that.

"Late term abortion" isn't reconized in any medical authority. It's "later term".
As these threads play out, an argument is inevitable and doesn't need to be itched out.
You said you had an "upper leg"?

The content you quoted obviously wasn't directed at you or intended to humor your silly questions about abortion. That's very disingenuous of you.
