Holy smokes! As if it wasn't high already! Also all the exams are going up on July 1st. I will pay for Information Literacy because I can't stand to pay a dime more.

This is saddening. Exams jumping from $205 to $235
And I was looking forward to starting to use the practice exams for Health Differences and on. Oh well...
What really puzzles me is the letter I got Via Email says the growth of the school reached an all time high of 35,000 within the last year. I thought the cost would stay low because more money is coming in but I guess thats not the case.
Well you know, the high cost of fuel makes it more expensive for EC employees to get to work, and ... ha ha, I'm kidding. But it seems like everything is getting more and more expensive!! Blech.

That really stinks! As if things aren't expensive enough! The only thing I can suggest is to pay for any exams that you can before July 1st. I know...easier said then done. Especially since that's only 5 days away!

I really think the least they can do, considering this fee is continually going up, up, up every year, is get the darned tests scheduled soon after payment so at least we can have a really good idea when to ask our spouses and ourselves to take off of work well in advance. I know the CPNE schedulers are busy and deal with many applications, but I've never spent that much on anything to be left in limbo for months. Heck, it seems the ability to pay for this is more of a weed-out than the concepts tests are.
I like the good ol' days when I can search allnurses and see when people paid $1500 for the CPNE.
Very true. They should be including the hotel room for that price!

so, you pay the 1900$ for the CPNE then about 500$ for the NCLEX? Can someone update me?
The NCLEX-RN is $200.
