The CPNE is going up to $1900

Heh, when I went through EC (1989) the CPNE was only $800 and the tests were, I believe, $60 each. (Of course, I thought this was horribly expensive at the time!). I paid around 2K for my LVN-RN through EC (then regents).

good news people good news...i finally got the now $1900 for this cpne thingy and will apply next tuesday...whooooooo hoooooooo...me excited to finally get this ball going..i probably will accept a cancellation date..maybe just maybe i can be a rn one day.............................................................

lunah or anyone that knows more than me....(which is everyone)....

am i correct when i say that ec is not charging the annual fee's for people waiting on cpne dates. i will pay next week but got my notice today ...that is 400+. there is no way i could have gathered that money before now.... so you think i will be able to get out of this service fee....or can i expect to get set back again......

ok, in the letter i received from EC it says- if your annual fee comes due between the time you have registered for the CPNE and the date of your CPNE, you may request to have your annual fee deferred for a period of up to 6 months. in order to request deferment you must: have all your general ed requirements completed at the time you become eligible for the CPNE,have an assigned CPNE test date 6 months or more from the submission of your completed application and submit your application within 4 months of becoming eligible for the CPNE. call 1-888-647-2388 and press 112245 over greeting and you will be transferred to their voicemail, Woo-Wee that was a mouth full :chuckle:chuckle:chuckle
