I guess the title says it all. Which shoes are the most comfortable for those 12 hour shifts?
my last 2 shifts ive been wearing my free runs and most of the time i forget i even have shoes on until someone compliments me on them. lol. so far so good. just dodging fluids hahha
yousoldtheworld--thanks for the input on alegrias, id like to get a pair and was curious how they felt not just trying them on but working a shift in them :)
i started off with asics gel enduro which were super kind to my feet even after 12 hours. i've been curious about clogs but didn't want to spend a lot on danskos in case they weren't for me. i wound up buying a pair of clogs from Lands End after reading reviews that stated that they felt like danskos minus the hefty price tag. they are still on sale for $34.99 if anyone's interested (i had a 40% off coupon so only paid about $22 for them):
Women's Suede Clog Shoes from Lands' End
let me tell you, i LOVE them and am now a clog convert!!! these puppies are so supportive. my feet were a little sore after the first day because i wasn't used to such firm support, but now that i've broken them in, they feel amazing.
Adidas Ultraboost combined with TX Compression Socks from Amazon are a godsend. My feet definitely feel the difference after working long shifts!
Fast and Easy The order was perfect in every detail. orthofeet had no way of knowing that I have used a heel support or Viconic shoes for years, so all of the instructions were really nice but I didn't need them I was looking for comfy slippers not slip ons with no back and I found them. Will be buying from these folks again. I'll be happy. I've ordered three pairs already from other dealers and had to send them back because they didn't fit my feet
I Love my new slippers! They are so comfortable. They run a bit big, so I had to return the size 8 for a 7. Fairly easy return process and prompt service from the Orthofeet. Repeat purchasing will depend on the rest of my experience, receiving and product quality. Toe of shoes seem to scuff through black finish easily. Other than that I'm pleased. Hope it will reblacken okay. I need slip resistant shoes quickly. I usually don't recommend any type of product, so that is why I gave a lower rating there.

I have a pair of Alegrias, and I like them enough that I plan on getting another pair! They have good arch support, but they are actually really well cushioned. That's the thing I can't stand about Danskos - while the support is good, they feel hard as a rock to me. The Alegrias are supportive and cushy at the same time...and they're super cute. I have a ton of work shoes, but the two pair I always end up alternating between are my Alegria Feliz and a pair of New Balance toners.
The online shop always has closeout styles at a good discount, if you want to try them but don't want to pay full price. :)
