Why would it not be in our scope of practice to use a stethoscope? I'm just curious. We were required to have one for school. How can a nurse do a head to toe assessment without a stethoscope?

I saw that so-called apology. Raven Symone acted like she was all ticked off that nurses were upset. Then they were trying to say they were watching the Miss America Pageant and not commenting on nurses and they thought her scrubs were a costume. Are you kidding me? Then, she says I'm used to them coming out in bathing suits. They are morons, period.

This show thrives on snark and rude. What they didn't count on was the voice of 3 million RNs being raised in anger.

I think they should spend ONE WEEK in nursing school (or working as a bedside nurse for that matter) and then maybe they'll get an accurate depiction of what nurses actually do. Maybe then they'll be able to come up with a halfway decent apology.
