    Hello Everyone,
I know this is an old post but I was just curious if any of you had an updates on the current hourly pay in Dallas. I'm currently a med surg tele nurse with 6.5 years of experience. I'm planning on relocating to Texas this summer. I'm still trying to decided if I want to move to Houston or Dallas. I read on another post that the pay was better in Houston. I'm just trying to decided which city will allow me to get the most bang for my buck. I'm really interested in working in critical care, preferably CVICU. Do of you know what the base hourly pay range is, for experienced nurse hired in critical care without any previous critical care experience? Or do anyone know how the base rate is determined? Do they pay for your years of experience in your previous speciality or do they start you off at the starting rate for the new speciality? Thanks in advance.
With 6.5 years of experience you can expect to be in the low $30s per hr most places.
