RN Salary in Dallas, Texas (2017)
Asking for my SO, looking to relocate to Dallas next year. She has 15 yrs experience as a pediatric CICU nurse, charge, and is now a nurse manager at a top ranked children’s hospital. If she were to take a staff role what type of compensation could she expect? Thanks!

Los Angeles Area RN Salary
I'm sorry, but this sounds really depressing considering the cost of living in LA. I worked at a very well regarded children's hospital in North Texas and new RNs were GUARANTEED to make $30hr on day shift after two years of experience. This was back in 2008. I've worked beside nurses for the last 8 years and this is disgusting that area hospitals would pay such wages for such vital members of the healthcare team.

What do you guys use for art lines??
+1 The NICU, PICU, and pediatric CICU I previously worked in used this system. BSI rate dropped dramatically after implementation.

ECMO - Will We Have Sufficient Capacity for the Fall/Winter Flu Season?
Haven't posted on the forum in a while, but this thread has been very interesting. (I've already been exposed to a H1N1 positive patient and just finished my course of tamiflu.) Next month I'm slated to partake in my hospitals ECMO traing program, so wish me luck.
