LOL I understand, I did EXACTLY the same thing before I went and got mine. I looked on the net and it was astounding how many people had a hard time it. I was excited though because the shot itself DID not hurt at all, seriously! It wasn't until about 12 hours later that it REALLY started hurting. Today is day two and it is just SORE. No fever or none of the other symptoms, just really really super sore!
ughhh. i got my tetorifice shot in my RIGHT arm.. it was dead for like 3 days. i was miserable. worst shot ever! (besides gardasil.) lol.
LOL I havent had the gardasil shot, but my daughter did, and apparently a side effect of it is fainting, like 20 minutes later she just passed out cold! I am just glad that we only have to get ONE tetorifice shot for now! I dont know if I could handle a repeat dose!
when the nurse administered it, it wasn't that bad... after the shot, my arm got really painful, verrrryyy sore, and itchy... i even had a fever... the pain and soreness lasted for a week... i wasn't even warned i'd get this reaction and i had to take care of my 2 small kids who always wanted to be carried... thank goodness i'm over that until another 10 years... now i know how my babies feel everytime they get shots from the doctor, and they always get 2-4 shots everytime...

I got a tetorifice shot when I was a teenager and I will never forget it, a large portion of my arm was swollen and in a lot of pain. It hurt for several days and I remember keeping ice on it.
I also had a bad reaction to the typhoid vaccine a few years ago before I deployed to the desert. I got a bad fever and started crying at work. Thank God they sent me home. I was a mess!
