I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
If your program is anything like the one I am in, they do NOT want you to buy ANYTHING until after orientation. Among all of the paperwork we received at orientation was a list of supplies & where you had to purchase them. Uniforms, stethoscopes, etc., etc. They wanted us all to look alike so every student had to purchase the required uniform & supplies from the required distributor. Congratulations to all of you. :)
I was rejected from TCC...BUT, I spoke with the advisor at TCU today and she actually put me on the wait list for THIS FALL COMING UP!!!!!!!! She told me to get my HESI done, my immunizations, and reenroll into TCU. Woowhooo! I am really hoping someone drops the program or decides not to go there. Praying the Lord will work everything out for me!
Has everyone turned in their acceptance form to TCC? I know they said the schedules would be posted about two weeks after all forms were turned in. Well, today is the deadline so I guess it will be in about two weeks. I'm curious about how I am going to change my work schedule. I'm greatful that I am able to do that.

And from what I've heard, TCC WANTS you to have your complete uniform pretty early on. They do sell some at orientation but they aren't fitted or probably what you want..
Passed by the SO campus today to drop some stuff off and I asked if everyone had turned in their acceptance letters. I was there at 2 pm and she said, Nope. I'm assuming it is those who were accepted else where and they don't care to notify TCC. I guess it is more hope for those on the alternate list :)
Just remembered. She did say that if you are having doubts on what shade of teal color, to go by the color on the patch. Buy that first and then go shopping for the pants.

I was also wondering which one would be considered teal. I'm not buying my scrubs just yet, but when someone finds out, please post!
