Tarrant County Fall 2011 Applicants

Published

Hello,

I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.

I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.

I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.

I sure hope they are just throwing that out there. I'm still hoping Loly is right. Especially since she spoke to JM..... Before May!!!! I hope....

I just don't see why they can't send one letter earlier saying "accepted" or "rejected" and then make a note on that same form stating that they will be sending info packets soon. This wait is making me want to pull my hair out. I think at this point, it's not even about the actual wait, it's about all of the different info we are getting. It is getting really frustrating.

I'm irritated with the whole thing. I'm done calling and asking. I called on Friday and that will be my last time. I'll just believe it when I see a letter in my mail box. Ugh, so frustrating.

I agree that this is frustrating. Maybe they are just throwing out random info because they are tired of us calling and asking.

I vote for leg pulling. :)

I work in a position right now like B's position and I know how annoying it gets whn I don't have exact dates so I estimate.. I think that's what she is doing. I uderstand it but I also don't think she understands our side of it. I'll believe what JM said over B because of this. Keep your head up ladies!

Haha! That is the saying, right?! I hope I didn't get that leg pulling thing wrong.

We only have 18 days to go...give or take a couple. In a little more than two weeks, we will all know our fate!

but you would think they could all come up with ONE estimation. Unless it is part of their plan to keep everyone guessing. Maybe an office game. ;)

Yes It Is a saying. One I happen to love.

Tomorrow is summer registration. I am worried. I really wish we could have had an answer before tomorrow. Since my husband's accident, I am the sole supporter of our family, and can not pay tuition for a class that I may not need. This is so frustrating. If I do not get in and I dont take micro this summer I wont be able to re-apply for another year. My micro will expire this summer. What to do???? I'm just praying that I get in this time.

I plan to think of my summer classes as a savings account.....If I get in, I can drop them and get a 100% refund. As long as we find out by May 30th!!! It makes me a little sick to think we could possibly wait well into May before finding out....
