I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
I went and got that out of the way today. The person there said that lots of students have come by. He opened a cabinet and said that every single one of those specimens were TCC students. There were lots there already. I guess everyone had the same intention.
The person also mentioned that it takes 24-48 hours for results but they will likely wait until the end of the week and get them done all at once and submit the results.
I have never looked forward to peeing in a cup as much as I did today. j.k. :)
I finally got the call that my name tags are in!! Whew.. A month and half later makes me eager to see them!!
Tomorrows my big school day since I'm off work.. I will get my drug screen done, pick up my name tags, and get the book and online access code that I'm missing! Whew.
Can y'all believe we start NURSING SCHOOL in 4 weeks?!?! Ahhhhh!!! :)
I will probably go by for my drug screen Wednesday morning. Other than that, all I have left is to purchase white leather shoes and get my patches put on my scrub tops and lab coat. Oh, and getting the whole student ID thing figured out (which BTW, I called and spoke with B this morning. She said she's been out on medical leave and just returned. She said everything should be resolved by Orientation, so I guess I'll just have to keep waiting on that one).
Wow... only 4 more weeks. I'll admit, I'm getting pretty nervous about all of it now.
My schedule was recently changed.... Does anyone else have a MW clinical at Kindred Hospital in Ft worth? I also now have Theory on Tuesdays at 10am and Skills on Thursday from 1:30 to 4:30?
