Hello,

I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.

I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.

I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.

I know I'm thinking too far ahead.....But..... Does anyone know how clinicals are assigned from second semester on? I was just wondering since next semester we can choose our own schedule I wasn't sure if we are allowed to choose our clinical site or time?

Hint. As someone currently IN nursing school...completely ditch the idea of looking in the school section for a wheely one. Go straight to luggage. I found a black shiny alligator one that is FABULOUS. I've even had one of the charge nurses at clinicals try to buy it off me.

My dad ended up handing down a really nice wheely bag for me. He got it in Korea during a business trip and it has plenty of space. I can fit my purse and laptop in it without a problem. I think it is technically a luggage item, but it works :)

Val- yes, after the first semester we get to pick clinical site/time along with theory class! :)

I saw a bunch of moving trucks outside of the SO campus nursing school today. I guess they are trying to get the rest of their stuff over to the new building?

Someone I work with told me last week that today is the moving day for the nursing department.

So exciting, one step closer to getting in that new building. I'm so glad that we get to be the first class to start there. I feel lucky!

Anyone know if they have decided on badges for nursing students? just wondering if we can go get them done now?

The artlicle in the starT said that everyone would begin moving in on Wed. The fence should come down sometime soon...hopefully by orientation so we could go check it out. :)))

hi everyone! i will be joining you all in the fall and im very excited!! i am ready to register and was hoping that would be today?! has anyone got any news on that?

In our packet it says that we will just need to go to webadvisor and register. We won't be notified when we are clear to do so.

I just tried and it wouldn't let me. I did just turn in the rest of my stuff yesterday though....and I am not doing my CPR until the 24th.....so that may be why I can't.

I'm going to try it now but I believe because they have my theory class listed like we are supposed to be there from 10 AM - 11 PM (which is a typo) it will conflict with the Skills class and come back as an error. Hopefully, they will catch it soon. I tried calling there yesterday and no one answered.
