Taking A&P I Fall 2009?

Published

Anyone else taking A&P I this fall? I am taking it, along with four other classes. I'm really nervous because I have heard its extremely difficult! Hopefully those of us taking it this fall can help each other out when we have a question, so please reply here if you're one of the lucky ones haha!

I will be taking A&P I and Microbiology online this Fall I will need all of your support!!!!! And I will help where I can too!

I'm taking it this fall too!! I've only posted once before on the CNA board, so hopefully I can make some friends as we go through our pre reqs together :)

Taking A&P 1 this fall along with psych 101, eng comp, soc 101, and a pottery class(definitely needed for a stress reliever) I too have heard it is very difficult, so I purchased all my books 2 months early and have been studying for A&P almost every day. I strongly recommend you brush up on your basic chemistry, cell biology, and be familiar with some anatomical terms before you enter the classroom. I'll be in the nursing program fall of 2010.(hopefully) Goodluck!

Add me! I'm taking A&P I this fall along with a computer class.

I will also be taking A&P I in the fall along with Lifespan Development. At my school, the A&P series (I&II) along with micro and Lifespan Dev. are part of the nursing program - not prereqs - so I am actually taking them before I am officially accepted to the nursing program. I'm hoping to get all the sciences that you are allowed to take before acceptance to the nursing program out of the way so I can just focus on the nursing when the time comes!

I just finished my final for my last prerequisite course tonight. After my grades have been posted I will be applying to the nursing program and should be starting in the Spring 10 - or maybe Fall 10. As of now they are still placing for the spring - but by the time I get everything in and take my NET test I may have to wait

Anyways, it's nice to know others are in the same boat! Good luck to everyone!

Quite frankly I am feeling a little bit faint about it already too. I just want it to be over with. 17 credits..they said I could do it. I guess we will find out..

Oh my, some of these schedules make me want to cry just looking at them! I thought my 15 credits of classes made me cringe, but yikes! But HEY, at least we got each other to complain to when we're crammin' last minute for that dang A&P exam, right? :chuckle

I'm taking Anatomy - at my new school Anatomy goes before Physiology - they aren't taught together  don't get why. At my old school A&P is taught together in a set of 2 classes, which is as it should be IMO. So, along with Anatomy, I'm taking Organic & Biochemistry for Nurses, a 300-level Sociology class (have to take it complete core-reqs. for school), and a 200 level P.E. class (required to graduate :icon_roll so might as well get it out of the way before actual N.S.). The thought of Anatomy & Organic/Bio. Chem. together makes me really scared! But I'll try to have faith I can do it. :saint: I hope we all do awesome in A&P this quarter/semester! :D

been 10 years since i got my bachelors degree in youth ministry and I am starting from scratch. A&P1, general psychology, college algebra, and Nursing assistant skills (6 week CNA course). The math and the psych should be simple since i have 2 years of psych courses from my BA and math is simple anyway. The CNA class will be over by midterm so I will have more study time once A&P gets tougher.

I'm taking A&P I, College English and Intro to the PN Role, along with hopefully working part time as a CNA. I may add in Introductory Algebra, but that doesnt' start until October, so I can wait and see how everything else is going first. Dont' want to take on too much as I have three little ones at home too! I also just applied for the nursing program for spring entrance, so I am studying for the TEAS, I think it's mid-Sept that I will have to take it.
