Taking A&P I Fall 2009?

I'm taking A&P I with lab this fall, also. I am already in the program, however. Our school just says you have to take a certain amount of science prereqs before you get in, so I had Chem, Microbio and Biochemistry done instead of A&P I and II. I am super nervous! I've heard soooo many things about how evil my A&P teacher is.... the rumor is that she is on some sort of teaching probation for FAILING so many students!!!!!!! I don't know if that's true or not, but it's starting to scare me! I'm taking A&P I along with Creative Writing, Nutrition and 2 nursing classes.

It is hard but study your butt off and you'll do fine, lol. Seriously....A&P take a lot of time, it felt like I was constantly in that book. Good luck!!!! I'm sure you'll do great!

I am taking it with Human growth and development and ethics. I am just stocking up on atlases and study guides on the mean time... I am really excited. I am on Amazon almost everyday looking for new books and stuff to supplement my studies. Good luck to us all!!

I'm taking A&P I, Nutrition, and Sociology this month (Summer term). I'm halfway through it as of last week, and working my ass off to keep things going. 15 days left!

If you can remember things, A&P won't be difficult at all. My advice: many colors of pens for notes, youtube videos to supplement lectures (I'm serious on this one, there's great stuff on bones, protein synthesis, sliding filament theory, etc), and doing your own drawings, and finding the big picture.

I'm about to dive back into my book for tomorrow's test.. Sarcomeres await!

Yep I am taking it in the fall.... classes start Aug 20th.

I just finished my summer semester tonight. I also just ordered Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards... I had a good recommendation for them. I have all of my texts for A&P I&II. Good luck and let me know how you are doing. :up:

Also I am only taking History along with it this fall and a day and a half long CPR class that I need to complete for my nursing program application. You will do fine... I have also heard as long as you can remember things well you will do great.

Add me to the club! I am taking A&P I this fall along with Lifespan Psych. I just got my books the other day (holy crap they are proud of them!) and have been flipping through them. I am excited but TERRIFIED!

Yes, I'm taking it this fall with the lab and 3 other classes....taking it with Intermediate Algebra, Sociology, and Human Growth and Development. I'm very nervous because I never took Chemistry in high school. When I talked to an advisor she said I didn't need to take it...I had fully planned on it. We'll see.

I'm taking it this fall and working full-time. I wish I could just take all my pre-reqs at once, but I'm too scared to leave my job.

I agree Mina. Hold on to that job as long as you can. :typing We don't know what the economy is going to look like in the next 2 - 3 years. :banghead: I am planning to continue working while going to NS, so that I am not in a mad dash to get a nursing job as soon as I graduate. Although I will be applying as soon as I am able. :nurse: Good luck.
