Summer Session Sign In

my classes start may 14th and run through aug. 3rd. i am taking - intro to healthcare, survey of a & p, medical terminology, microcomputers. i am hoping to get into the lpn program that starts in january. my net test is may 17th, but even if you pass the net test it doesn't guarantee you a spot in nursing school

I am taking Chemistry this summer. I am pretty nervous because I have never taken any kind of Chemistry before in my life. I'm also debating on if I should take English with it. What do you guys think? Would English and Chem be too much for summer?

Pumpkin,

I am taking Chemistry right now and had never had it before in my life either! I think that you could do both. Of course, I am a glutton for punishment, but I wanted to get everything that I could out of the way before nursing school starts in August. I also have 2 government classes and a world literature plus the chemistry lab, so even with a shorter time frame, I think that both could be very doable. Chemistry is actually pretty interesting! I am taking my courses online this summer. I am taking A&PII with labs done on campus, and Human Growth & Development. My summer session runs 10 weeks, so I will be doing everything with my books by my side! Best of luck to everyone on their classes!

OK I'm officially registered now. I just paid my tuition. I am signed up for online biology with lab on campus and chemistry on campus. The chemistry class is from 5pm to 10:30!!! The lab for biology goes from 8am to 1:30pm!

5 weeks of Chem 1 followed by 5 weeks of Chem 2 - so much for an enjoyable summer before my full-time program starts in the fall!

I'm taking Eng Comp I for 5 weeks, then Eng Comp II for the next 5 weeks. Sometime in there I have to take a 2-day CPR recert for 1 credit hour. And I'll be CLEPping Sociology in June. It doesn't really seem too bad for a total of 10 credit hours...
