Who's with me for summer classes? What are you taking?
This summer I'll be making my way through three classes. English 2, and my Religion requirement, and then the second summer session A&P1. Ack. :uhoh21:

I'm with ya! First summer session I am taking English Comp II and Intro to Sociology. Second summer session I am taking General Psychology & Sociology of Marriage & the Family(elective). Will be at school four nights a week along with working 40 hours, but its so hard to pass up being able to get four classes banged out in the time it would normally take me to do two.
Let me know how the marriage & fam course goes. I've been eyeing that one recently and wanna take it asap. :)

ok, I will keep you posted. It looked like the most interesting elective to me, plus I really want to go into Peds or L&D so I thought the more I understand about the family unit, the better I could relate to the patient/parents.
Refreshers are soooooooooooo nice sometimes when you want to be on top of your game. I have a few classes I think I might end up taking twice. Someone told me they were to thankful they took a math the semester before they tested. I might do that myself...I'll be here if you're here.
ps - I'm aiming to be a CRNA myself!

Yay misserlizzer! Someone I have something in common with... so you must know why I'm taking the physics and calculus then? Already trying to enhance my potential CRNA application and I haven't even finished the BSN yet lol. :roll

The "weird" thing for me though is that the school I'm going to apply to for my BSN also offers the CRNA. However, they don't require physics or calc!:uhoh21: I dont know if they put those courses into the BSN courses or what, but the prereqs for their BSN program (I'm aiming to transfer in, know someone in the dept and long as I make the grades will be able to squeeeze in likely:smokin:) they dont include calc or physics! I've been thinking I might take them AFTER I get my BSN (no room to add extra classes in on top of the prereqs) though because so many other programs require them and I dont want to apply for the CRNA program and feel behind someone else. KWIM?
ps - ended up changing my name if you couldn't put two and two together.
I'm glad you all are with me! I am taking A&PII the first 5 week summer session and Psyc. Lifespan & Development on-line the 10 week session. I am debating on taking a 3rd class in the 2nd summer session but we'll see. I dont want to overload myself since my goal is for A's....
good luck to everyone it will be a long summer!

I'm quitting my job as of May 17th to take Micro and AP 2. The classes are 9-5 M-Th, so I have no time to work. I want to work a part time job, but I'm going to get started in classes before I decide that. I need to start first and see how much time I have.
Does anyone know any good Micro/AP 2 sites?
Also, what do you all cover in AP 2?
At my school we cover circulatory, lymphatic including immunity, respiratory, excretory, nervous, endocrine and reproductive systems, body fluid composition, acid-base balance, electrolytes, early human development.
Good luck to everyone :)
