It seems like I got a lot of repeat questions, which makes it look to me like it was the computer's way of saying, "you got it wrong last time, here's another chance." Mostly psych and infection control questions. And it seemed like the questions would get easier once in awhile, to adjust back down to my level.
On that brochure they gave me after I left it said that for US student first time takers 85% pass, but I figure I made it in the other 15%.
This really sucks.
Congratulations, Motorcycle Mama. I need to ask you a question. You know when you wrote in your initial post that things didn't look good for you in terms of passing the NCLEX-RN, well, I'm in the same boat. I know no one feels pretty good after the test, but after you took the test what did your heart and mind think (pass or fail). I took my test this morning in Cali and I am scared to death that I didn't pass. I had 86 or 88 questions on the test. I too had quite a few infection isolation questions that were repeated. I'm just trying to remain calm, any suggestions, advice, words of wisdom.
I just took my test wed...I had 75 questions...Found out I passed Friday. I took my test at the pearson center and was able to check online after 48 hrs...had to pay 7.95...but it was worth ever penny...when it came up I passed. (http://www.pearsonvue.com/nclex).
I don't know anyone that had 75 questions that failed...
