It seems like I got a lot of repeat questions, which makes it look to me like it was the computer's way of saying, "you got it wrong last time, here's another chance." Mostly psych and infection control questions. And it seemed like the questions would get easier once in awhile, to adjust back down to my level.
On that brochure they gave me after I left it said that for US student first time takers 85% pass, but I figure I made it in the other 15%.
This really sucks.
i took it today =o(. Had 75 questions, what is up with the infection control/isolations questions coz i had about 20 of those!! And i really think i bombed all those questions. I posted a blog about my thoughts about failing the test because i got the last question wrong (i know, coz i looked it up as as soon as i got home). Congrats motorcycle mama...i plunged into depression today coz i really think i failed...but your words (and those who replied to you) help calm me down (for now!!)
Every nurse gets 50% correct, and 50% incorrect. Even if I were to take the exam today, the difference is in the skill level of the questions. The number of questions means nothing, were you getting any priority type questions?
I just took the nclex-pn yesterday. I got a lot of priority questions, like 'who do you assess first?' I have noticed several times, you have said that these are the type you want to see. Could explain to me why this is?
Thanks,
