Stopped at 75 questions, and it doesn't look good

Published

It seems like I got a lot of repeat questions, which makes it look to me like it was the computer's way of saying, "you got it wrong last time, here's another chance." Mostly psych and infection control questions. And it seemed like the questions would get easier once in awhile, to adjust back down to my level.

On that brochure they gave me after I left it said that for US student first time takers 85% pass, but I figure I made it in the other 15%.

This really sucks.

75 and stopped???? That's what happened to me and I passed!! I do not know of anyone who had 75 questions, the computer shut off, and they failed. Prioritizing IS critical thinking. Critical thinking doesn't always have to be hard! You're an RN, don't fret!!!! :balloons:

My test stopped at 75 questions also and I thought I did horrendous! I passed. I think you'll surprise yourself in the end.

Let us know! I'm sure you did just fine and will put the RN behind your name in no time!

Still no word. No news. Something in my mind tells me I passed, but until I see the results for myself, I can't believe it.

Hello, I just took the NCLEX PN this morning and my test shut off at 85 questions. I got alot of NG tube, Priority, Post op and infection control quesitons. I feel like I was guessing at every other question. I really feel like I failed. I got maybe 4 or 5 check all that apply. The test was way harder than I expected. I am an A student in nursing school. I can just imagine the RN boards. The wait for my results is killing me!!!! :o
