well i'm a purple freak but out of the colors you listed i'd pick ciel blue..but it's up to you, have fun with it! with so many institutions mandating scrub colors (navy, bleh) it's one of the few opportunities we have to express ourselves.

The brighter the better so you can spot it!!!!!! LOL

Baby pink!

Let us know which color wins.

I avoided recommending the pink only because, it seems most of my L&D friends have pink steths....thought it would be harder to track a pink steth in L&D. I still say seafoam for distinctiveness.

Have you considered the raspberry? It'd look great with your navy scrubs, and is, in my opinion, much prettier, and a bit more subtle than the baby pink.

I can't believe this is even on here!! Not exactly earth-shattering stuff!! That being said - - I have had lavendar 'scopes for many years!!! I wear a lot of multi-color short-sleeved scrub jackets, and a lot of purple/lavendar. Also, as noted earlier, some colors don't grow legs!! Have it engraved, or, remove the diaphragm and write your initials in permanent marker on the head, then replace the diaphragm.

Consider a nameband with your name on it, or a very small keychain that can be easily cleaned, placed on your 'scope.

I hope this is the hardest question you ever need to ask!!!!

My purple Littman is always exactly where I left it--no one tries to take it ever,,,,,so I am quite happy that I bought purple. I think you should go with seafoam--- it is neutral and probably will not get Lost (stolen) as easily as a black or ceil. They also clean up easily, but do get it engraved. Good luck on your new position,:loveya:

I agree about the engraving! I went with maroon for my Littman :-) I wanted orange actually.....but the model I wanted didn't come in orange :p

I have the Littman's BRIGHT ORANGE steth. I'll never forget the first day I took it to clinicals. Other students looked at me like I was nuts for having such a bright color. After a couple of them had their black ones stolen, they bought a bright orange one too! I LOVE it because I can spot it from accross the room. Downside is, after awhile of throwing it in my bag, it had gotten dingy looking. But, I still love it!

I have the raspberry in that same kind of Scope and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I would have gone with Pink if the company I bought mine from offered it on the order sheet. I later saw Allheart had it in the Pink for breast cancer awareness month and I was so bummed I would have gotten it.

I LOVE pink, Pink and Black and White actually. Anyway, I have seen many nurses and Doctors though with pink scopes.

Get the least desireable color for other people. That way fewer people are likely to steal it.

pink, name engraved, and a tether...;)

My traveling luggage is a deep bright pink. I LOVE it and the double bonus is, no one accidentally walks off with it at the airport and I always know when mine comes off the belt and my husband no longer takes my suitcases and ruins them. Further proof that Pink is the way to go. :p
