Stethoscope colors...HELP!

I can't believe this is even on here!! Not exactly earth-shattering stuff!! That being said - - I have had lavendar 'scopes for many years!!! I wear a lot of multi-color short-sleeved scrub jackets, and a lot of purple/lavendar. Also, as noted earlier, some colors don't grow legs!! Have it engraved, or, remove the diaphragm and write your initials in permanent marker on the head, then replace the diaphragm.
Consider a nameband with your name on it, or a very small keychain that can be easily cleaned, placed on your 'scope.
I hope this is the hardest question you ever need to ask!!!!

Ha I just hate shopping and am very indecisive about those types of things. I am like that with a lot of silly things such as what to eat and what to wear. Other things i am a bit better at but just things that have no real importance I am terrible. Ha.

And for all the people that helped me decide in this post...Thanks! I ordered it in Seafoam Green with my name engraved. And then most likely I will get something else like a charm or something to add to it...but that can wait til I actually get it ha. That's not very nice :eek: . Not every post or topic has to be earth-shattering....in fact, some "lighter-hearted" posts can be welcome among all the doom and gloom and depressing topics that nursing can bring. Didn't realize there was a "serious quotient" requirement for starting a thread. Wow.

I see you've made your choice, OP! I personally like dark, neutral colors; my stethescope is navy. I have a small, unique little beaded nametag thing on it, though, so I can spot it instantly. I also keep a close eye on it, and often have it on me, so it doesn't get lost! In fact, I desperately need a NEW one, I've had this one over six years and it's showing a ton of wear! Wish they weren't so pricey, though!

Get the least desireable color for other people. That way fewer people are likely to steal it.

The only problem with that theory is that there's always folks who like odd colors.

I know someone in this thread was talking about getting an orange steth with just that thought in mind.....but I wanted an orange steth because I LOVE orange

But no....if your orange steth is missing I didn't take it :coollook:
