In general, look into the states where people are not flocking to in droves: Wyoming, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Mississippi, Louisiana, Idaho, Montana, etc.
Also, more rural parts of the states people ARE flocking into. In Arizona, there are ADN jobs outside hospitals in Phoenix metro, but few hospitals will hire them. However, in more rural places in the north and east, ADNs can get hospital jobs. A girl from my CNA class finished her CC nursing course and had a job offer in OB in Flagstaff before she even passed NCLEX. She's been there 6 months now. Another nurse I knew could not get hired as a RN anywhere in the hospital system for which were worked, even though she had been an aide with them for years. She went east and got a hospital RN job in or around Globe.

I live in South Carolina, and ADNs are still hired here. Especially around the Columbia area, as one of our local schools is very reputable. Some hospitals are moving toward BSN only, but I don't know any ADNs having trouble finding jobs.
