Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

I am trying not to lose my mind waiting to hear back. Please, let us find out something soon.

I wish the admissions office wouldn't say that the 15th was the day. I wish they would give us a litte bit more information. I really hope that we hear something back by next week. This is terrible interviewing then having to wait two months to hear anything when other schools interviewed just as many people for just as many spots and they found out within 4 weeks.

I know Nov. 15 is the official notice day, but I hope we find out before then! I'm going out of my mind with the waiting!

as sad as it is.. not all of us will be classmates... I didnt apply to any other school due to classes needed and deadlines....

If I apply again I feel like I will get in the second time guaranteed but I want the first =).

i saw someone made a post last application saying. I hope you all fail and I succeed but after we are in... We are one big family

i forgot to ask... when the interviewers asked about working/other things in your life what did you say?

I said I am ready to drop everything in my life. Move into an apartment right here and get to work and studying. That this is my priority in life.

I am becoming so impatient too... the waiting puts so many thoughts in my head! Has anyone been accepted to Prairie View A&M for the Spring, but is still waiting to hear from UT before deciding to start their program?

Hi I just registered. I've been nervous since the interview because I feel like my life depends on this. I was put on the wait list f or prairie view, Ive heard they choose on a first come first serve basis. I applied the first week of september which was past the "priority deadline" I really want to go to school!!! I am sure everyone feels the same way.

Does anyone know how long the program is exactly? I was told 18 months, but if we go spring, summer, fall, spring...then when does it end. End of May-which would be 17 months, or end of June-which would be 18 months.

I believe graduation is in May. So if we start in the Spring 2001 program in January, we should all graduate in May 2012. :yeah:
