I think the whole point of the second degree applicant comment was that UT Houston is one of the few schools that does not seperate a first time degree student and one that already has a degree. Most other schools have different spots for them. I don't think it was an attack on anyone who is a second degree applicant it was just a comment.

I wish the admissions office wouldn't say that the 15th was the day. I wish they would give us a litte bit more information. I really hope that we hear something back by next week. This is terrible interviewing then having to wait two months to hear anything when other schools interviewed just as many people for just as many spots and they found out within 4 weeks.

I wish they would just tell us. I think out of all the schools in Texas UT has the longest turn around time. Its terrible.

I wouldn't rely too heavily on the utlink. Your UTLink wont be updated until at least a week or two after you get a letter in the mail.

We should actually be finding out sometime around the 4th of November, but not everyone got emails on the same day. I did not apply for the Fall 2010 semester nor did I get in for the Spring 2010 semester. I thought that my interview this time went a lot better then it did the first time I applied. MY GPA is around a 3.2 , it is not as high as I would like it to be but I have worked hard to bring it back up from a 1.2. My HESI scores were decent. I have been volunteering since I was 8 with one organization and volunteering with MD Anderson for the past 7 years. I really think the most important thing to keep in mind for this whole process is to have a backup plan so that way if anyone does not get it it isn't the end of the world becuase there are other ways to get to where we all want to be.

We will find out before Nov. 15th. I applied for last spring semester as well and they told us Nov. 15th as the big day then as well. We actually found out around the last week of october and first week in November. The 15th is the day they mail out the actually letters. If any of us do get in we will generally find out by email first.

I was wondering how many people that recieved an interview letter were applying to the BACC2 prog. and how many were applying to the traditional prog.?

I am . I know that the committee recieved my application yesterday. I was a little annoyed with UTMB Enrollment services said they sent my app over to the SON as of the 10th of August and the SON could not locate my application until last Friday. I just wish they woudl hurry up and send out the emails

no not yet but I am hoping that my application was in the group sent to the committee today. The waiting is always the hardest part.

I know that the SON admissions committee is reviewing more applications today so if you haven't gotten an email yet maybe by the end of the week they will send out another round of emails!

Haven't heard anything yet. We should be hearing from the school in the next week or so I am assuming.

Kelly2010, HOw much time was given between you finding out you were to be interviewed and you going to Galveston for the interview? Hope you're having a nice first week.
