I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)
Either way this will be a loooong month. Seems like if they are interviewing 325, then they should be pretty close to being done. For Spring 2010 they went through Oct. 19 but only had interviews once a day. They are doing them twice a day now...so who knows. Just seems like 2 mths is not enough to get your mind together from a "yes" or a "no"...Those who apply in the Fall usually know @ 3 mths before.
I walked out of the interview feeling pretty good.. But I also think that depends on who you get as an interviewer. The person that interviewed me made me feel really good and was extremely nice. I know some people that were very intimidated during their interview and were nervous coming out of it but still got in.

I walked in scared ********
She made me coming out feeling like a million dollars.
I know she is a great nurse when she was caring(or if she still is)
Ok I am apping for the 2011 summer semester here is what I'm coming in with:
Nursing prereqs: 3.88
Science GPA 4.0
Uundergrad GPA 3.06
Grad GPA 3.6
HESI Language 93
HESI Math 94
HESI A&P 96
HESI CRITICAL 860
MLT cert, army vet, and 15 years in healthcare.
I've really tired to put together a bang up app, but with the low expectance rate I'm very far from thinking it's a done deal. Can anyone that has been accepted let me know how I measure up. Anyone with similar stats get a reject letter?
