Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

The reason I think that everybody who meets the requirements gets an interview is because I have yet to read anyone stating they did not get an interview that has a complete application.

My gf still has not. Most people won't say anything if they have not

I heard that people who had the interview today (sept 23.) it was cancelled and rescheduled..

I dont know why..

nobody thinks my review of the interview gave any unfair advantages for anyone else do they? I am pretty scared about it doing so and it being held against me.

I don't think you gave anything away. You were just stating what your day was like without giving us what they were asking. Good luck to all of you!! I had my interview this week and really felt good about it. However, after a day or so, I keep reviewing in my head my answers I gave and am not too thrilled at my responses anymore. Feel like I could have done better. By the way, their were only 17 at my interview...I took a head count.

I interviewed today at 8am. It was not cancelled.

I also interviewed today. I interviewed at 12pm, it was a small group but not cancelled. They said they are interviewing about 325 people and not everyone who qualified got an interview.

I know i am definitely not. The only work I am planning on doing is the occasional evening babysitting, things like that for a little extra money. But I have not talked to anyone who said that they thought it was good to work while you go to school. However, there is a work/study program with UT that you could look into. Look up WSS on the UT SON page.

There were 16 in the Sept 24, 8am group.
