So.................how about a little shout out to everyone that is going to be starting clinical in Spring 2010. Answer the following if you would like to share with us!

1) What school will you be attending?

2) When is your orientation?

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts?

I'll go first

1) What school will you be attending? Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD

2) When is your orientation? Dec 14

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? So much LOL! I have my apt for my physical, TB test, and blood draw for my titers on Nov 11, signed up for BLS class on Dec 15, and uniforms have to be ordered on Dec 14. Here's to hoping for positive titers all around so I dont have to do any vaxes!

1) What school will you be attending? Oklahoma City Community College (YAY!)

2) When is your orientation? Dec. 11

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? Find seasonal and H1N1 flu shots (I had H1N1 but can't prove it, ugh. The health dept. is still prioritizing and said I didn't qualify)

1) What school will you be attending? Samuel Merritt University, Oakland, CA

2) When is your orientation? Well, class starts Jan 11 but they haven't told us about an orientation date yet.

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? Sign up for classes, get ANOTHER TB test (I've had like 4 in the past year for volunteer work and working at another hospital, but they need a negative in the past 6 months and my last one was in June!), do a chicken pox booster(?), and buy uniforms!

2) When is your orientation? January 7th, I'm SO ready!!!

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? I just have to do a Titer to prove my immunity to varicella! I'll probably find TONS more things to do by my orientation date!

1) what school will you be attending? western kentucky university

2) when is your orientation? jan 19th

3) do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? um, everything. physical, tb test, titers, buy uniform and lab coat, shoes, steth, etc... the school does not let us do anything until they tell us to, so all i need to do now is get the physical. but soon enough, the rest will be needed.

2) When is your orientation? December 11th

3) Do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? Get all of my TB stuff together (I had a pos skin test, neg chest xray) and buy everything!

2) when is your orientation? it was last july, and a mandatory 1 day to go over papers in early jan.

3) do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? yes, clean my house and get organized! vaccines are updated, we have to turn in past transcripts and register for classes on the day in jan...i will probably need to update my cpr to be within 2 years and we are waiting for our drug test papers.

i'm super excited though. how is everyone else feeling?

Oh, People, I wish I can fill out this 3 lovely questions too, but I am still waiting. The result is going to be this week and this week I have 5-6 pages project due (I can't even start) and 2 tests (one is tomorrow), but I just can't concentrate. It is my only first try, but I still very anxcious and hope to get in.

3) do you have anything else left to do before clinical starts? quite my medical assistant job that i have had for 7 yrs (which is going to be hard) but extremely excited to start school and begin my nursing career!
