Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I hope so but you never know, I could have missed something/: Only about a month and half to go before we are notified !

We're officially at a month from letters going out. The first 6 weeks or so of this wait seemed to go by pretty fast. But it's really starting to drag out now...

Hi there! I'm looking into applying for the THR El Centro program for Fall of 2016. So far with what I got, I will have 30-31 points- is this good for El Centro? The past few semesters I've been preparing to get into TCC as well as completing all BSN courses. I have a 3.0 in my primary courses but a 4.0 in the support courses. Is it worth me retaking English and Psych to get my GPA up just to gain an extra point? Or am I fine with the 30/31 points I have. Thank you :)

I would say that you are probably fine. I believe 27 points has been the cut off the past two semesters. The acceptance letters for spring 2016 come out on Oct 15th. So you will have a little more idea what it's taking to get in. If you have not taken the Hesi test yet, I would just try making up some extra points there if You can. But from recent history, 30-31 points should get you in. Good luck!

Oh yes 31 is very competitive!

I got in with 27! I have a friend that got in with 26! Good luck!

Ugh is anyone else getting super nervous !?!! So scared I messed something up in my application...!

Yes! I just know I am going to get a letter saying, you had enough points but so and so was missing from your app so you have been disqualified. Even though I went over that thing 50 times before I turned it in lol.

Ugh SAME. I have nightmares about it lol

Fwiw, I handed in my application and they contacted me about something I needed to correct. But I applied to the rn bridge so there aren't nearly as many applicants.

Hang in there you guys!!! Only a few more weeks and letters will be sent out soon. I'm excited and nervous for all of you. I can't wait to see the acceptance posts start coming through!!! :)

October is here😊😣😮!!Ready, excited, nervous. Really hoping we all get the news we want to hear!!!15 days and counting!!!

I am extremely late chiming in, but I finally spent some time reading comments. I was looking for ECC/Methodist Spring 2016, since I applied to both El Centro and ECC/Methodist program. MHS extended me an interview, which was Tue. Now I just have to wait. I got the all clear email from Sentry, but now I'm being told there is something going on with it. But ECC nor Sentry will tell me what the hiccup is. Being left in the dark about this issue by ECC and Sentry seems unprofessional in my opinion.
