I'm orientating for a new position. My orientation is days for the next 6 weeks. My BEAUTIFUL wife works nights. I'm already starting to miss MY BEAUTIFUL Lil ANGEL :-(

I think you meant to text your beautiful lil angel how much you miss her, but by accident you posted this on a public internet forum for nursing professionals. Oops.
I definitely tell her daily how much I LOVE n MISS her. She's my life :-)

...makes me want to vomit for some reason, but I'll just say "Happy Holidays", instead.
To Pangea, I'm sorry this post makes you want to vomit. My wife and I have had a very stressful year, with several losses. I Love n Cherish this woman very much, and I miss spending as much time with her as I'd like to.

That's very sweet. It is hard when you work opposite of your spouse. I worked afternoons for awhile and my husband works a M-F daytime job. It was REALLY hard not seeing him for days in a row, except while he was sleeping. I also had a really hard time with not seeing my children except to get them up and ready for school. That prompted me to request a shift change and when they were hiring new staff for the other shifts I sought out a different position (home health) where I worked similar hours to him.
