I love a good splinter challenge!
I just pulled out an inch long splinter in one piece from one of the science teacher's fingers. I'm feeling quite heady.

I refused one yesterday because it was microscopic even with a lighted magnifier. There was nothing to grab. Show that baby to your mom! :)
I have the teeniest little set of tweezers with a little hook on it. I can usually gt most of them. If not, I call the mom and ask her to soak it, cover with with a bandaid.

There is something so satisfying about removing a splinter.... It may be my new ear irrigation - My one true love. Don't get to do it all that often anymore since I left primary care. Now I have to wait until my own family members ask me to do it. sigh....

Clean the area and put a bandaid over it, either call or email parent.
