So we all know the nursing profession pays big, so what do you guys plan to spend on your first pay check?

Security deposit for an apartment. :)

I will be moving out of my mother's house (:(!) and in with my boyfriend.

Unless the boyfriend isn't in the picture anymore. Then I have no idea what it'll be spent on. There's always some bill that needs to be paid though. Maybe I will get my first pedicure!

Ok, it's going to be more than I make now (nothing), but I can't think of anything I absolutely want that I don't plan on having already. (A PDA)

I think it will be nice just to have two incomes instead of one. I look forward to paying my bills in full, on time.

OK and maybe I also can't wait to do a little shopping! ;)

I want to get a really nice purse. I love handbags, but I just can't afford a $300-500 purse. And I want a cleaning lady to come in once a week.

My first paycheck is going to pay for me to take out all of my family who have helped me make it through school. My husband, my kids (who I do this for), and my parents. Then we are going to the nearest Chevy dealer to buy my husband a new pick-up truck. His is 15 years old with no heat or air. He bought me a new van while I was in school after we had our third son, so I think it's time for him now.

I plan on paying off my student loans right away. I don't have any now, but I know I will once I start nursing school. I also want to start saving for a new, bigger house. And I told DH that he should go back to school once I graduate.

Let's see...I plan on moving into my own apartment...I can't wait to get my OWN place!!! I plan on saving a lot but on my first check I am going to go shopping!!! Oh yeah # 1 is I am going to get a new car!!! My current car is soooo beat up it is unbelievable...I am surprised it is still running!!!

Well seeing that the car I have now has over 150,000 miles on it and stalls on me every single day and our other car leaks gasoline, I will drive immediatly to the Chevy dealer to buy either a Silverado extended cab truck or a Trailblazer!

We also would like to move into a house, that would be nice for the kids. My husband will be going to law school so I'll be supporting him through that. Hopefully it will all pay off one of these days :)

Mine is like that,too. He does anything to help and make things possible for us ;) There are still good men out there!!!!!

I am just excited that I will actually HAVE some "benjamins"....maybe even a....a....a....SAVINGS ACCOUNT!:eek:

After living soley on my husband's income for fifteen years while I have been a stay-home-mom, then school, it's really difficult for me to comprehend actually having enough money to even make a real budget:p
