I know this is pretty early but i just finished my pre reqs for nursing and im on the border but I seriously CAN NOT wait to apply in march! Ill be finishing my AA if i dont get in.. so i will apply again if that happens but fingers crossed it wont! 3.766 gpa for application.. are you all excited?! Congrats to who got in last semester by the way! What how do you all feel at this point in time? Im feeling a huge accomplishment coming! --
Hi there. Level 3 student here. You will have the option to pick day or night class, as well as your preferred clinical site. Most of the time, it works out that you get placed where you prefer. Night students do graduate earlier, as they go to school throughout summer. If you are starting in the fall, I would recommend night school (if it interests you), since you will be doing level 3 in summer. Level 3 is a breeze. Level 2 was hell. I would not ever recommend anyone do level 2 over summer, unless you are a glutton for punishment :). My GPA was 3.7. The lowest I heard of being accepted last spring was 3.5-ish. Fall is traditionally harder to get in. Good luck- I hope this helps!
All applied and should be all set for Fall intake. Anyone know how long the reading test is? They keep telling me to allot myself enough time but never tell me how long the average person takes.
Its also good to hear that you can advise what time a lot you prefer as I have learned this semester I learn better at night!
It took me a while too.. this is csblog by the way.. i forgot my password and made another lol but if you read earlier i only got an 87-88 but i now have a 98% in the class.. i probably could reread and pass that exam at this point. I probably had test anxiety so id take it sooner than later.. most people do fine though! I get distracted pretty easily.. good luck!! You got this
Im sitting here at work thinking about this, and I cannot help it because I work in the field. I am already wondering a million things about the most effective study habits for myself. How to really retain the information. I am thinking of buying a recorder for in class so i can listen to the class discussions while driving places.. and use them for study material... What are yall most nervous about besides getting in?

I use a voice recorder and it has been so helpful! I would definitely recommend using one during the program . I actually got a really nice one from amazon - it's awesome! If you're still looking for a good recorder let me know.
I think I'm most nervous about starting clinicals. I don't work in the field yet, so having that initial exposure to the hospital is going to be a little intimidating and nerve-racking. But, I'm sure with time it will get easier.
I am still looking, what kind did you get? My phone is working for me right now but i have to delete them because it takes up a lot of space. I want to be able to download the recordings to a usb drive or something. I don't know how this is going to work yet but we'll see. Ill figure it out! Im going to wait till i know if I get in or not to buy but its good to have pointers on what to look for.
