I know this is pretty early but i just finished my pre reqs for nursing and im on the border but I seriously CAN NOT wait to apply in march! Ill be finishing my AA if i dont get in.. so i will apply again if that happens but fingers crossed it wont! 3.766 gpa for application.. are you all excited?! Congrats to who got in last semester by the way! What how do you all feel at this point in time? Im feeling a huge accomplishment coming! --:nailbiting::nurse::nailbiting:

Yup I used the website they suggested.

I've personally always used Google calendar because I always have access to it on my phone and computer. So you're not carrying around a big planner all the time. I live and breathe by that app especially when I'm in school. Plus it's free. Nothing else has worked for me. So that might be a good option for someone who is tech savvy

I hope we get an email about first day of class details for Monday, I remember something being said about our first day starting at 1pm for everyone at orientation.

Is everyone just bringing all their books and skills kit Monday? I doubt we'll be using them the first class but I guess I'll just stick everything in my trunk just in case we need them.....

I'm bringing everything and just keeping it in my car. I haven't heard anything about everyone having to come at 1pm.. my schedule states my class starts at 3pm

Yeah that's what my schedule says, I just remember the nurse saying something along those lines when someone asked where we go for our first day, he didn't say much about it just that everyone was meeting at 1pm the first day, both day and evening classes, so idk, but if they don't notify us I'll be going in at 3 as well, I would think they would've already let us know so maybe I misunderstood....

She did say go whenever you are scheduled days is at 1 and nights meet later.. the schedule will come up on a tv screen in the lobby and possibly be different so we are supposed to check it each day

How we all doing??

So far, for me, its overwhelming the amount of data thrown at us in 4 days but I'm hanging in there.

I agree, it's very overwhelming! There's so much information and before we can learn anything we're already moving on to something else. I feel like we didn't get much practice for vital signs at all, maybe like 5 minutes in my class. I also have no clue what to expect for the tests.

Unfortunately that feeling does not change throughout nursing school. You just get use to it. Dont stress too much. Just take it one day, one class, one section at a time.

Does anyone have any advice/tips for studying for the tests?
