I am applying for Fall 2017 as well!! I still have to take MCB, PHY, AND PSY this spring and Stats in the summer. I am currently sitting at a 3.941 GPA. I am just trying to figure out if I should apply when it opens (with those 3 classes in progress) or wait until the semester ends since applications are still open for I believe 10 days or so after...But good luck to you!! hope we can both get in!

I'm also applying for SPC in March for Fall entrance. This coming term I will have Micro, Psychology and Speech. Presently I have a 4.0 and have my fingers crossed to keep it that way this coming semester!

It is so hard because now I am sitting here with all this excitement and cant do anything with it! Unfortunately i am taking the reading class next semester because i cant get higher than an 88 but i feel so distracted when i go in that room to test. I may try to take it one more time if they are open..

I'm applying for fall too! Only two classes left for me: stats and speech. If I get A's in those classes I'll go into the program with all courses completed and a 4.0. Super excited about that! It's been a long journey for me because I had to start from the beginning. I had to take all of the developmental courses before I started the prerequisites. But it's been worth it! Good luck to all ♡♡

Have you tried traveling to a different campus? I just did my reading placement test at the Tarpon campus. It was super quiet and no distractions.

I need to! I mean an 88 is college level but a 95 is required or you need to take the course which i am going to do either way now.. maybe it will help me get in the right mind set for reading my books too my mind tends to float away i get distracted VERY easily..

I understand! I had to read the passages over and over again. I don't read a lot at home, so it took me awhile to finish lol. But I was lucky to get by with a 99. I think you should try one more time! You got this!

Thanks, i really hope so.

They are making me take the reading test even though the PERT placement test I scored a 147. I go on Thursday some time during the day to take it. Let's see how I do on that test.

The pert reading test is different than the reading accuplacer for nursing. The passages are much shorter and only 20 questions. Good luck to you

How is it graded anyway? Curious..

All I know is that it's an adaptive exam. Each answer determines the next question.
